Our operations include chassis and component
design, serial production, assembly, marketing
and distribution of zero and low-emission vehicles.
We have produced hundreds of electric vehicles, in house, since 1990.
Initially we provided prototype, racing and proof-of-concept vehicles
for Los Angeles based companies such as GM, Honda, Calstart and several
smaller independent companies under contract. In 1997 we became Denali
Cycles and brought to market the first production high-performance
electric powered off-road cycle, The Moto Pro.
Our facility is in the beautiful Southern Oregon Siskiyou mountains, just 15 miles north of the California border. Nearby Mount Ashland is laced with hills and singletrack trails for snowboarding and cycling.
When it comes to making bikes, we're control freaks. If we see something that needs improvement, we do it, rather than wait for bids from outsourced vendors. The more control over the various processes involved in making a bike, the better the bike: a little magic, and a relentless commitment to doing things right.
Our passion for quality goes into every detail. Precision laser metal cutting is just one example of the attention to detail that goes into everything we do.
Our CNC machine helps us quickly create quality components to meet the changing needs of our expanding product line.
In addition to CNC machining, we also do frame fabrication, plastics forming, electrical harnesses, and wheel lacing functions in-house.
